Founded in 1991, the Portland Brass Quintet has become one of Oregon's most in demand brass groups. Musicians of the PBQ are currently members of, or regularly perform with groups such as the Oregon Symphony, Seattle Symphony, Eugene Symphony, Oregon Ballet Theatre, and Stumptown Jazz. The PBQ provides music for dozens of weddings each year and has also performed at Portland Trail Blazers games, the opening ceremony of PGE Park, the rededication of the Multnomah County Library, and the Christmas Revels.
